Never in his wildest dreams did Allen Wang, actuary extraordinaire, believe a world beyond numbers could even exist for one trained in mathematics (Go UCLA!) yet, this page exists as proof to the world that there is such a thing as an artistic actuary.
Miles and the Land of the Mud Men is Allen’s first foray into the world of children’s literature. What started off as an idea by his wife expanded into a story for his children and then a full-fledged book.
Miles is all of us. We are all Mud Men who cannot clean ourselves. It is only through the cleansing of the greatest king of all, Jesus, that we can enter into the gates of paradise. Miles and the Land of the Mud Men is a tale that illustrates this truth along with the concepts of sin, repentance, and sanctification.
Allen currently resides in the Greater Nashville region with his beautiful wife, three sons, and three cats.
